Gate Valves
Designed for the oil field, the Model 72 gate valve is the proven and reliable choice for applications requiring a working pressure of up to 5000 psi and temperatures up to 250 °F (121 °C). The Model 72 gate valve is designed to provide maximum flexibility and reliability and is ideal for corrosive water flooding applications, sour gas service, and crude oil, as well as certain wellhead applications.
Features
- The use of Body Subs allows for changing the valve connections without changing the valve body or the entire valve.
- The one-piece forged gate and stem, and full lift display the current orientation of the valve: open, partially open, or closed.
- The extra-large ball bearings and high-strength stem threads minimize the torque required for valve operation.
- The proven design of the interlocking gate packing and wear plate protects the valve body and bonnet during repeated openings and closings of the valve.
- Standard gate packing are designed for a wide range of fluid environments.
- Model 72 parts are interchangeable with Cameron's Flex-Seal type 'S' valve parts.
- Major and minor repair kits, as well as individual parts, are available.
Pressure gauges
Oteco pressure gauges have a built-in damping mechanism to minimize wear and mechanical shocks. Additionally, high-strength seals prevent line fluid from entering the gauge mechanism. The gauge mechanism itself is surrounded by a special oil that provides resistance to extreme temperatures, as well as vibrations and impacts. For added safety, a low-pressure plug is installed to prevent damage to the gauge casing and lens. All gauges are available for standard water, saltwater, and sour gas.

Safety valves
The OTECO PRV (shear type) helps ensure the protection of mud pumps, collectors, and other costly components used in drilling operations. The PRV uses shear pins to relieve overpressure during drilling and other operations. Hardened stainless steel rods and stainless steel cladding subsectors provide better corrosion resistance, resulting in greater reliability and longer valve life. With OTECO PRV, replacing shear pins is quick and easy thanks to the easy-to-remove safety cover. The OTECO PRV is available in low, standard, and high pressure 2-inch models, as well as high pressure 3-inch models.

Manifold fittings
OTECO manufactures ten different styles of manifold fittings in 2 inches, 3 inches, 4 inches, and 5 inches with working pressures ranging from 3000 psi to 7500 psi with test pressures up to 11,250 psi. Each fitting can be supplied with pipe threads or with butt-weld end connections Schedule XX or 160. Special connections are available upon request. All fittings are hydrostatically tested before shipment and full certification can be provided upon request.
